FLL Challenge Mentoring
Every Tuesday and Friday Evenings, our robotics team members go out of our way to volunteer three FLL Robotics Teams within our Hagerty Robotics Program. The FLL teams range from grades in 5th-8th grade. The Teams learn new skills in engineering concepts and research new and innovative ideas to help their community. This year they compete in a new game for this season called, Cargo Connect, where they will face challenges related to transportation and its real-world implications. Mechromancers bring education to the youth in our community.

2021 Recruitment Camp
4717 has officially started their season off with an in-person outreach through recruitment camp. We made sure to take proper precautions by wearing our facial coverings and social distancing. Through this, we were able to reach out to fellow students that were interested in the Hagerty Robotics Program as well as FTC. We introduced them to FIRST Robotics and the basics of what we do here on our team. The campers built amazing robots in their teams throughout the week and eventually competing between each other! There was a lot of interaction and fun everyday of camp!

Interviewing Professionals
Over the summer, our team has continued to make connections on a weekly basis by interviewing STEAM Professionals within our community! They were able to provide us their wisdom and experiences from all different kinds of backgrounds. We have had teachers, NASA Engineers, and Professors come in and talk with us about robotics, and the real world. It's amazing how they were able to inspire us to take action and help our team grow.

Onshape Assemblies Video Tutorials
Over the Summer, we started a video series on our YouTube channel on Onshape Assemblies. These tutorials are provided by our team to those that need assistance in using Onshape's Assembly feature. Videos are uploaded every Thursday in hopes that we can inspire others through our effort who wish to become more knowledgeable in the STEM field.
