Our Team
The Mechromancers, FTC Team 4717, is a high school robotics team based in Oviedo, Florida. They operate through the Hagerty Robotics Program at Hagerty High School in Seminole County, along with their sister team 4227 “Metal Morphosis.” This group was founded in 2011 as an all girls team known as Estrogenius. Now, they have twelve members: seven boys and five girls. Their team ranges from sophomores to seniors, with skill levels in different areas.
In the dark depths of Hagerty High, the dead of night, something is amiss. The sounds of tinkering can be heard and occasionally, some evil laughter. Who are these mysterious figures? They are the Mechromancers who bring robots to life. They are often referred to as, Team 4717. This team is undoubtedly a team full of effort, passion, and drive exemplified through their every action in the design process, outreach efforts, and competitive edge. |
